1. If you know the part number of your existing filter cartridge, check if it is listed below: Intex: Type A or C/29000E/59900, 29002E, 29003E

2. If you know the model number of your filter pump, check if it is listed below: Intex 530 GPH - Model 603 or Item # 28603EG Intex 1000 GPH - Model 637R or Item # 28637EG Intex 1500 GPH - Model 635T or Item # 28635EG Also compatible with Intex filter pumps 28671EG, 58603E, 58604E, 56635E, 56636E, 56637E, 56638E, and 58623, as well as Krystal Clear filter pumps models 02 and 12R

3. If you don't know the replacement part number for your cartridge, use the following steps as a guide: a. Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge in inches (±1/16) b. Measure the overall length of the cartridge in inches (±1/16), including the end caps c. If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (±1/16 inch). If the end cap is closed, make note of its identifying features (e.g., "Handle", "Cone")

High water pressure: If the running pressure of your pool filtration system starts to climb and doesn't come down after a thorough cleaning, it's time to replace the cartridge. 2. Cracked end caps: If the end cap on either end of your cartridge has turned brittle and cracked or chipped, replace the cartridge immediately to prevent damage to your system. 3. Torn pleats: If the fabric of the pleats is torn or has a fuzzy appearance, the cartridge's effectiveness has been compromised, and it should be replaced. 4. Crushed cartridge: When the inner structure of your cartridge has been compromised, and it looks like a crushed can, it's time to replace the cartridge. 5. Every two weeks: For maximum efficiency, replace the cartridges every two weeks.
